The Plywood Central is no longer in operation. The Plywood Central was a
test of concept temp layout that had served it's purpose and beyond.

As I was staging the pieces in place for the revised helix on the Canton Division (to determine where I need to modify the benchwork.) I had a vision per say.....or better put .....I gave birth to a new brain dump...aka idea.
I wonder if my peninsula (where my downtown is planned) would fit the turn back radius of viaduct track? The reason for this thought process was to see if another helix could be built in this area for staging...
THEN IT HAPPENED!!
Why yes the benchwork is wide enough for a viaduct turn back...HEY WAIT A MINUTE... I should
build my primary helix in this area instead of standing on my head and learning new swear words (ok...I already knew and used them) where I had originally planned the helix.
So, I am now planning to build a much larger helix still using Kato Viaduct track but now with more straight sections. The other HUGE bonus here is that now I can access all sides of the helix as it will built on a
peninsula. THIS IS A MAJOR REVISION TO THE MAJOR
REVISION :)
This will result in an entirely new layout plan (sigh)...at this rate I will never get the layout operational.....I am really not upset as I think this re-design will
eliminate many headaches in the future.
For the moment, construction on the Canton Division is paused a short bit until I figure a GENERAL layout plan for version 9.0 I guess it is the railroading Gods smiling upon me again (track order was greatly delayed thus delaying my construction of the current plan)
